Description:
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is the story of a girl and a boy who invite you to step into a grand musical adventure.  The journey begins in Copenhagen, home to the girl, Mette Lindberg, and the boy, Lars Iversen.  It was in Copenhagen where Mette and Lars spent six months crafting their trippy, soul-heavy pop in Lars’s single room flat.  When Mette and Lars had written many songs in their particular way, they release them out into the waiting world, which welcomes them with open arms.  First, a worldwide ad for Apple’s iPod featuring their song "Around The Bend" airs, then scenes in Gossip Girl, Chuck, and One Tree Hill utilize "The Sun Ain’t Shining No More" and "Hero" as well as "Around The Bend."  They tour with Katy Perry across Europe, and conquer high profile performances at SXSW and around New York City, all in their first year of exploration. The adventure continues with the release of their debut album, Fruit, in 2009!
